New Place

God has truly blessed our family. Jeff and I got married and got a brand new house within two weeks of each other. We have been trying to find a house for two years that meets our family's needs and is within our budget. We did and we love it! It is so nice to have so much space and such a nice neighborhood for the children. We never thought this would happen so quickly, but I know that someone up above is smiling down on us right now. I just hope we can repay him with our love. Here are some pictures of the new pad.

One week ago...

One week ago at this time I was just leaving the salon with my sister, my best friends, my new step-daughter, and my step mother. My hair was perfect, my make-up was perfect, the ceremony was perfect, my family is perfect, and my husband is perfect. I am actually getting teary eyed thinking about it all. My wedding day was the best day of my life. After all the years I sat and dreampt about it, I don't think my dreams came anywhere close to the reality that occured one week ago. There is absolutely nothing that I would have changed except maybe to do it all over again! Jeff and I looked at each other after church today and marveled at how fast time flies. We went to Ocean City on Monday for a mini-moon before our cruise this summer. We did nothing but relax the entire time. It was fantastic. Bachelorette Party Bliss

Friday night was my Bachelorette party and we had an absolute blast. Great company, great drinks, and lots of laughter who wouldn't have fun? My sister pulled through with all of the embarrassing pieces of my get up, tiara with veil, pink boa, bride to be sash, and of course the light up bling. We began the night at Picadilly Brew Pub with some free shots from the owner and ended the night at Brewbakers. We had so much fun. Here are some of the pictures of the crew that started with 11 and ended with 5 at 1:30AM. Go girls it was a fantastic, memorable night!

Happy times

We could not have asked for a more wonderful Spring Break and Easter holiday. We traveled to Myrtle Beach on Thursday evening and came back on Monday. The weather was wonderful, the beach was beautiful, and we had a great time with family. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach because it was 72-75 degrees most of the time. The water was chilly, but that did not seem to deter the kids. Of course, we went to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. Madison spent her Easter money building a baby doll and AJ built a sports car. Friday night we had many laughs at Tiki Jims trying on hats and funny sunglasses. Who would have thought that would be such entertainment? Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny had visited and brought all kinds of goodies. Sunday evening we went to the Dixie Stampede for Easter dinner. AJ was picked from the crowd to do a roping show and Madison loved the cowgirls and belles. Too cute! We absolutely had a blast and struggled to drag ourselves back to Martinsburg. This is what happens when....

you mix wine and addressing wedding invitations together. Thanks to Carrie for helping me address a bunch of invitations Friday night. You should expect to get invitations in the mail soon. I am really starting to get very excited about my wedding. Everything is falling into place and I truly feel blessed with my life, family, and friends. We are trying to buy a house and the outlook is good, so this is going to be a wonderful spring and summer for me. Look for more pictures from Myrtle Beach after this weekend. Happy Easter!
