This is too cute! Madison singing her new Thanksgiving song. Ws are not sure what is more amusing--Madison singing or AJ in the background acting out the lyrics. Enjoy!

New Flooring
It is finally done---the blue carpet is gone!!! We began last Friday night by pulling up the carpet, taking down the trim and sweeping out the dust. Then Saturday morning, Jeff's brother, Chad and our friend Dave came over to help put in the flooring. They worked all day Saturday until about 7:45 PM. Then the next morning Chad and Jeff were at it again. They worked until we ran out of flooring, so I went to Lumber Liquidators in Martinsburg to get more. Of course, they were all out until Monday afternoon. Jeff quickly called the store in Frederick, MD. That store had plenty. So, off I go to Frederick to get flooring when---BAM---I ran his car off the side of the road where there was a huge hole. I thought to myself, "that was awfully loud," so I pulled over. 50 feet later I get out of the car and both tires on the right hand side of the car were flat as pancakes. My only thought was, "you have got to be kidding me." Jeff came over in my car, meanwhile Chad was at home still working on the floor. Jeff put his spare tire on the front and had to go to storage to get his other set of tires to put one on the back just to get the car home. Now, we have to buy four brand new tires because not only did I bust the tires, but there were 3" cracks in both wheels. Just what we needed. So, then I set off for Frederick again, in my car this time. I returned safely with four more boxes of flooring. Jeff and Chad resumed work and put the last piece of flooring in at 9:00PM Sunday evening. It looks absolutely amazing and we just love it! Thanks so much to Chad and Dave for all of their hard work. Check out some of our pictures of the work and the finished product.

Football Playoffs and AJ's 8th Birthday
HERE WE GO BROWNS, HERE WE GO!
The biggest game of the season thus far took place Saturday morning. The entire family was there and boy was it a nail biter. The game went into three over times and we were all on the edge of our seats. BUT finally the Browns came through and scored to win the game 6-0! It was awesome. I was so relieved that I cried! It couldn't have been a better start to a great 8th birthday for AJ! Here are some pics and a video!
Stay tuned next weekend for the results of game two where if the Browns win they head to the Super Bowl. Let's go Browns!

First things first, Jeff and AJ's favorite holiday---Halloween. Here is a pic. of Kayley (the bride) and AJ (the unknown phantom) trick or treating. They got tons of candy in Mamaw and Papaw Brinegar's neighborhood.

The tooth fairy
Well....we have the toothless wonder in the house. AJ will be singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth," this year. We went through two nights of prodding, poking, wiggling, stringing, and bleeding with AJ's two front teeth. Last night was the worst of the two. We had to get his rotting loose tooth out before school pictures today, so we pretty much did everything we could think and finally, after one hard tug from Jeff, the toothless wonder appears! Here are the pictures from the left front tooth!

So Jeff, had AJ in tears the first time. Poor guy. Last night was much better. AJ cried twice, and then we tricked him and wallla the tooth was out! He was very happy after that. We found a website that said to make sure you tell the tooth fairy when you have to work a little harder to get a tooth out, so we did.......
And finally, here he is the toothless wonder!

Lancaster, PA

Our annual trip to Lancaster, PA and The Red Caboose Motel. We had a blast even though our trip got cut short due to our commitments to football. The kids both got their Halloween costumes and Jeff and AJ got to spend much awaited time at Spirit Halloween (their favorite store). Here are their costumes.... Daphne and The Unknown Phantom! (Madison is hilarious!)

The second highlight of the weekend....
"Tackle made by number 90, Adam Brinegar." AJ made a tackle in the game today, got his name on the loud speaker, and he will get a skull and cross bones sticker for his helmet! The Browns beat the Chargers 19-6 to become the EPYFL Division Champs! GO BROWNS!!
