Well, they finally did it. The Browns won the TCYFL (tri-county youth football league) championship on Saturday. It was such a very cool event. Extremely emotional after these young boys and coaches have worked so hard since July. Jeff was a wreck all morning and AJ was overly calm. The game started and no team scored until the 4th quarter. The final score was 14-0, Browns over the Razorbacks. Of course I cried, but you would never believe, sweet AJ cried with emotion after the game too. It was so sweet. Jeff picked him up and told him it was ok to cry when you were so happy. We think he held his emotions in all morning and then when they won he just broke down. The boys were so cute getting their trophies and celebrating. It was such a great day!
Last weekend was a great weekend with family. We had my brothers, sister, mother-in-law, and father-in-law in town for my mom's birthday, the football game, and a little Halloween haunting in our basement. It is so much fun when my siblings are here. I just absolutely love them. Willy brought his girlfriend, Rachel, along who I just adore, too. Of course Jeff's mom and stepfather are simply wonderful as well. We enjoyed watching the Browns in another victory and then it was back to the house to grill hot dogs, hamburgers, and have cake for my mom's b-day. After that we headed down to our basement and set up a haunted house and had everybody walk through it and everyone be a character to scare someone. It was hilarious. Check out some of the pics. 
My husband rocks! He works so hard it is unbelievable. And he is so caring, loving, and the best father ever. What woman could want more? He has been working over nights all summer at the jail, where he is now also teaching, to make extra money to keep us financially ahead when the baby arrives. Now, he has also signed up for several days this month. He worked last night so he is sleeping quite soundly right at this very moment. Next weekend he is going to work Friday and Saturday night. Don't get me wrong, I hate it when he is gone, but the sacrifices he makes are very impressive. So anyway, you know where my vote for husband of the year is going!
